Two-Day Research Festival Concludes at MM University, Mullana

The two-day MM Research Festival-2025, hosted by Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana, concluded successfully on Saturday evening. The event was organised with the aim of promoting research development, academic partnerships, and knowledge sharing among scholars and institutions.

According to a university spokesperson, the festival served as a platform to strengthen dialogue and collaboration between academic institutions, researchers, and subject experts. Scholars were given the opportunity to present their research work, exchange ideas, and discuss perspectives through an extensive poster presentation exhibition.

Outstanding research papers were recognised with certificates of appreciation, honouring the contributors for their valuable academic work. Vice-Chancellor Harish Sharma informed that 435 researchers presented papers across a wide range of disciplines, including medical and paramedical sciences, allied health sciences, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, dental sciences, nursing, engineering, computer science, and other scientific and technical areas.

The research submissions were assessed by experts from leading institutions across India, such as the University of Delhi, IIT Roorkee, CSIR, NITs, Panjab University (Chandigarh), Punjabi University (Patiala), and Chaudhary Charan Singh University (Meerut).

The festival created an engaging environment for researchers, students, and academicians to share knowledge and explore innovative ideas. University officials noted that such initiatives help open new avenues for academic progress and research growth, making a meaningful contribution to the educational and research landscape.

Dr Aadesh K. Saini, Head of the Research and Development Cell, highlighted that events like this enable researchers from diverse fields to present their work to a broader audience, while poster presentations help make research outcomes more accessible and impactful.

The university also announced plans to organise similar research festivals in the future.
